Ron Paul Against All Odds (Part 1 & 2)
Written by Dave Gallagher Subject: EugenicsAgainst All Odds Part 1
While the main stream media tries to make sense of the Ron Paul phenomenon, GOP establishment folk continue to try and dismiss the growing support for Ron Paul. Case in point Human Events (aka the land of Anne Coulter and Newt Gingrich) reports that Ron Paul's "loyal spammers" are inflating his poll numbers in straw polls. But we see today that Gambling 911, a website devoted to online gambling news, reports the following:
Meanwhile, the Ron Paul 2008 has seen a doubling of campaign contributions since the now infamous Paul v. Giuliani episode at the most recent GOP debate.Carrie Stroup here with some startling news concerning Ron Paul. Sportsbook.com (see website here) had experienced such a dramatically [sic] insurgence of betting action on Mr. Paul over the past two weeks they were forced to slash odds from 200 to 1 to the current 15 to 1 odds.
"Ron Paul is a serious contender whose grass roots campaign is growing dramatically," explains Payton O'Brien, Senior Editor of Gambling911.com, one of the world's leading political betting news sources. "No other single candidate for US President has received the type of interest generated here at Gambling911.com."
In this same time, Paul's media appearances have increased in frequency and quality including multiple cable news interviews, an in-studio appearance with Bill Maher on HBO's "Real TIme" in which Maher commented he had never seen his studio audience respond the way they did to Ron Paul. Paul is also booked on the Daily Show next week. And in talk radio land, Paul continues to be an increasingly hot ticket, most recently joining Comedian / talk show host Dennis Miller on the air.
Tuesday, I was dial surfing when I picked up the "Ed Schultz" show. Ed is a Republican turned Democrat of course catering to a center left audience. His show that day however was nothing but non stop calls from Anti-war democrats who were plumb fed up with the democrats. The sentiment was that the Democrats were sent to Washington in 2006 to end the war in Iraq but have failed to deliver. The 3rd call I heard was someone who said that the only hope for any kind of significant change was Ron Paul. Amazingly Ed's comment was simply that he will be having Ron on the show next week.
Web traffic statistics continue to indicate growing interest in Paul at Youtube, Myspace, the official Campaign site and even this website.
Whether Gallup will continue to find groups of 400 Republican and Republican leaning Americans who will not choose Ron Paul remains to be seen, but if what the Right Wing bloggers are spouting is true, we are witnessing an amazing, super human display by these "loyal Ron Paul spammers". They are apparently a well financed gang of computer geeks who somehow vote in hundreds of on-line polls, call talk radio programs, stuff HBO studios, hold rallys and fund raisers in multiple states, place large bets in Vegas, driving the odds of Paul for president from 200:1 to 15:1 and of also made a million in campaign donations last week.
Against All Odds Part 2
Last month, I like many others watched as ten presidential
hopefuls strutted their stuff on stage at the Ronald Reagan Library. While
CNN’s Chris Mathews tossed questions ranging from predictable to off the wall
the inevitable Reagan name dropping began. During the course of that evening
each of the candidates mentioned Reagan’s name and attempted to align them with
the Reagan “legacy”. There was however a single exception. Ron Paul,
libertarian Republican from
“If you analyze it I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism… The basis of conservatism is a desire for less government interference or less centralized authority or more individual freedom and this is a pretty general description also of what libertarianism is.”

Voters who, through disgusted with the Republican louts America sent to Washington, may consider voting for the likes of Hillary Clinton should remember the philosophy of the Clintons regarding our most precious Right as a human - Liberty.
"If the personal freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution inhibit the government's ability to govern the people, we should look to limit those guarantees." Bill Clinton, August 12, 1993
Since then, republican initiated congressional legislation and Presidential "signing statements" have gone far in fulfilling Clinton's stated desires.
With the exception of Congressman Ron Paul, it hasn't mattered which Democrat or Republican politician received our vote. They have all participated in creating a bigger Government with more power taking more of our Liberties, Rights, and Freedoms away along with ever increasing amounts of our hard earned money.
The period of time America is now going through was described by Ayn Rand in, "The Nature of Government":
"We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force."
What can we actually do that doesn't require permission from Government? Sadly, the answer is, "Very little!"
Both the Democrat and the Republican politicians in Washington as well as in our State capitols control us as if we were chattel of the Government.
There are only 3 options.
1) An open revolution.
2) Continue putting the same republican and democrat party supported politicians in office and humbly accept the inevitable loss of Liberty along with the chains of submission to subjugation.
3) Vote for candidates who have not been selected by the powers that be who have positions putting the interests of the People's Rights and Liberties first. Start voting for principle and stop voting for a party.
Vote for the only candidate for President who stands four square for individual Rights and personal Liberty - Ron Paul. By casting your vote for him you can send a powerful message, and if enough of us have the gumption to take a stand we might just succeed in placing a President in office who will represent the People rather than multinational corporations and banking interests. "Always vote for principle, though you vote alone, you may cherish the sweet reflection that your vote is never lost." John Quincey Adams
The Liberties and Freedoms of the American Citizen is secured by a Constitution limiting the Powers of Government. This is worth defending against all threats both domestic and foreign. Our Liberties have been purchased for us with the treasure, the blood, the body parts, and the lives of our ancestors. It will bring shame and infamy on our generation if we should allow these Liberties to be taken from us by legislative acts of an ever reaching Government without a struggle or a whimper, or even worse to lay them humbly at the feet of this Government.
Not only your future, but the future of your children and grandchildren will depend upon you choice. In fact, the very future of "this great experiment" in self Government rests with your choices.
Choose wisely.
