Deputy is put on desk duty after shocking video shows him pummeling a teen...

A deputy in Texas has been put on desk duty after shocking video showed him punching a teenager who had been filling his ATV with gasoline at a gas station.

The incident took place last Friday at a local Shell gas station in Harris County, Texas, and was captured on the teen's GoPro camera that was mounted on the back of his ATV.

The teen - a sophomore named Carlos - had been riding in northwest Harris County with two friends when the trio stopped to refuel their tanks.

They immediately recognized the unnamed deputy as a regular at the gas station.

Video shows the deputy walk out of the Shell and approach Carlos, placing his drink down on the teen's ATV while asking to see his license.

'He just looked at my ID for like two seconds and said to put my hands behind my back,' Carlos explained to ABC13. 'That's when I panicked a little and pulled away from him and he grabbed me.'

The deputy can be heard shouting profanities at the teen as he grabs ahold of him, not explaining why Carlos was getting detained. When he first approached Carlos, the deputy mentioned the teen running from him in the past.

'Don't run from me boy, I will beat your a*s right here,' the deputy screamed. 'Turn around and put your hands behind your back before I beat the (expletive) out of you. Don't be f*****g stupid!'

The large deputy pummels the teen as his two friends watch in complete horror and shock.

Carlos said that following the beat down, he was taken to a unclear location and held for a few hours. He said that while there, authorities took his fingerprints and then released him to his parents.
