Yuppie icon Jeffrey Toobin of CNN and the New Yorker, one of the #Resistance crowd's favored legal authorities, described Sullivan's appointment of Judge John Gleeson as "brilliant." MSNBC legal analyst Glenn Kirschner said Americans owe Sullivan a "debt of gratitude."
