By the 5th of January 2022, the student apartment complex was noisy and full of energy as every participant had arrived safely and Project Arizona had officially started! And what can more effectively create the best opportunity to get to know each other better than delicious food, cultural exchange, and the freedom to share ideas? Therefore, Klaus, our participant from Brazil, immediately hosted the very first dinner which was followed by our welcome party. By their first weekend here, participants were already adapting to Arizona and admiring its beauty. Additionally, they were introduced to Project Arizona's highly supportive friends and supporters, the Johnson family. What could be a better way to experience the beauty of freedom than hiking in the Superstition Mountains with this amazing company!
We are truly back to this beautiful land of the sun, Arizona!
It has been only two weeks of exposure, but we have managed to get the maximum benefit out of it! And even more is coming. The next weeks are busier, much busier, and our enthusiastic participants are ready for it and looking forward to attending more ASU classes, networking with Joe Cobb, Tom Jenney, Rotary Club Phoenix, and even visiting the Grand Canyon and attending an objectivism seminar in Southern California. You can read more about the following two weeks' activities in our next newsletter.
