Scientists in the US have created a robot the size of a fly that is able to perform the agile manoeuvres of the ubiquitous insects.
It can climb ladders, open doors, and it's coming to rescue you.
In what is sure to be only the beginning of human vs. robot confrontations, a surveillance robot belonging to the police was recently shot after a six-hour standoff with a 62-year-old heavily inebriated man.
BigDog handles heavy objects. The goal is to use the strength of the legs and torso to help power motions of the arm.
