TEA Parties and “End the Fed” Protests Cannot Win Back the Republic Without This Information

Many Americans appear to be awakening from their slumber of apathy as government forces are made their move for total control of our lives. Massive TEA Party protests on April 15th, followed by more than 1000 again on Independence Day, show a growing movement of concerned, dedicated Americans. But there is a major component missing from those protests. There is a nearly universal lack of understanding of the issue of Sustainable Development and the dangers it poses to our liberty. Michael Moore is one confused theorist. In his latest movie, Capitalism: A Love Story, he tells us at the end the end of his two hour movie that "Capitalism is an evil, and you cannot regulate evil." He wants to replace capitalism with, get this, "You have to eliminate it and replace it with something that is good for all people and that something is democracy." Last I looked, democracy was a political system, and capitalism was an economic system. There is no reason you can't have a democratic socialist system, or for that matter, a democratic capitalist system. There is no reason you can't have a socialist dictatorship or capitalistic dictatorship. There's no mutually exclusivity between political systems and economic systems. In other words, Moore doesn't know what the hell he is talking about. As for capitalism itself, Moore seems to think it is Goldman Sachs and other banking institutions that are the beginning and end of capitalism. He

About 50 yogis gathered in New York recently to discuss hiring a lobbyist and raise funds to fight a state proposal to require certification of yoga teacher training programs -- a move they say would unfairly cost them money.

"It has brought us under one roof," said Fara Marz, who held the gathering at his Om Factory yoga studio in New York. "And this shows that yogis can be vicious, political, together."

Yoga enthusiasts who say autonomy is fundamental to what they do
