Biden Regime Abandons 100s of Americans, Tens of 1000s of Afghan Allies in Botched Withdrawal

On August 18, White House spokeswoman Psaki falsely said the following:

"If there's American citizens left (in Afghanistan), we're gonna stay to get them all out (sic)."

Separately she said no Americans will be "stranded."

"It's irresponsible to say Americans are stranded (sic). They are no (sic)." 

"We are committed to bringing Americans who want to come home, home (sic)."

Fact: The Biden regime's withdrawal from Afghanistan was a colossal failure, an affront to what it pledged, proving again that US ruling regimes can never be trusted.

Fact: Withdrawal was not an "extraordinary success" as dementia Joe's teleprompter-reading/know-nothing double falsely claimed.

Along with abandoning hundreds of Americans and thousands of Afghan allies wanting to leave, millions in the country face daunting humanitarian crisis conditions from decades of US involvement in war since late 1979. 

Freezing billions of dollars of Afghan assets by the Biden regime risks making things more catastrophic than already for its long-suffering people.

According to UN humanitarian coordinator for Afghanistan Ramiz Alakbarov:

Most Afghan children struggle for enough food to survive.

Over half of them under age-5 suffer from extreme malnutrition.

More than one-third of Afghans are food-insecure, not knowing where their next meal is coming from or what it'll consist of.

Potentially millions of Afghans are at risk of starvation.

On Wednesday, Alakbarov called for world community help to "prevent (a greater) humanitarian catastrophe" in the country than what already exists.

Crisis conditions reflect the blood-drenched legacy of US involvement in war directly and indirectly, its exploitive occupation, oppression, and plunder of Afghan resources — its indifference toward human suffering and what's essential to survive.

Millions of Afghans "in extreme need (desperately require) food, health and protection services, non-food items," safe water and sanitation, Alakbarov explained, adding:

"For the UN to meet current demand, we need at least $200 million only for the food sector, to be able to provide food to the most vulnerable."  

"And those most vulnerable are children," he stressed.

Without urgently needed world community help, the UN may exhaust its food stocks by end of September.

Before US withdrawal of combat troops et al, half the population depended on emergency aid to survive.

In response to the UN's request for 

$1.3 billion in emergency help months earlier, less than one-third of what's needed was received — the need greater now because of worsening catastrophic conditions.

According to the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR):

Afghans comprise the world's largest refugee population.

Along with more than 2.6 million registered refugees with the UN, at least another 3.5 million are internally displaced — because of Washington's disastrous involvement in the country for over 40 years.

In 2021 alone, over half a million Afghans were internally displaced, according to the UNHCR — "number(s) continu(ing) to rise."

Because the Biden regime froze over $9 billion in Afghan assets held at the New York Federal Reserve Bank — and ordered the IMF and World Bank controlled by the US to halt aid — catastrophic humanitarian conditions in the country continue to worsen.

Besides nightmarish conditions left behind for most Afghans, the Biden regime abandoned hundreds of Americans and thousands of allied Afghan nationals wanting to leave.

Instead of helping them as vowed, they're on their own because US promises are empty.

According to a New Yorker report:

"A US official who spent the final days in Kabul (said) there was a consensus among…American military personnel and envoys that they just wanted out, even as they questioned the frantic chaos of how it was done."

Along with hundreds of abandoned Americans, "(a)lso stranded were tens of thousands of Afghans who" worked for the US occupation as interpreters and in other capacities.

Promised help to leave, Biden regime indifference abandoned them because they no longer serve US imperial interests.

Interventionist Blinken's claim about "a new chapter" of Washington's involvement in Afghanistan beginning, the New Yorker called his remark "another delusion in a long sequence of (mass deception) about US policy on" the country.

Afghans face "new layers of anguish" because of US/NATO's forever war wherever their forces shows up.

Former US envoy to Afghanistan Ryan Crocker said the Biden regime abandoned "a whole lot of souls," including local allies, aspiring women and girls, activist Afghans, and Washington's nonexistent "reputation as a reliable ally that will live up to its commitments (sic)." 

The Taliban and others it promised will be involved in governance face the daunting threat US direct and proxy war on the country and its people with no end of it in prospect.

A Final Comment

On Tuesday, Sergey Lavrov said Russia "will coordinate (its) actions (on Afghanistan) primarily with our allies and strategic partners within the CSTO and the SCO." 

"We will…cooperate with other countries which can, in good faith, contribute to normalizing the situation in Afghanistan with an emphasis on ensuring security" and helping its people.

The agenda of hegemon USA and partnered regimes are polar opposite the above.
