Trump's War on Yemen

Trump's War on Yemen

by Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.org - Home - Stephen Lendman)

Obama began it. Trump escalated it, both US leaders complicit with Saudi Arabia - supplying its military with weapons and munitions, supporting its terror-bombing and genocidal blockade, US warships involved.

Washington's global war on terror is a colossal hoax, GW Bush first announcing it in a congressional address days after 9/11 - the mother of all false flags. America's war on humanity at home and abroad followed that fateful day.

In May 2013, Obama lied claiming the global war on terror is over, America's military and intelligence agencies to focus instead on elements threatening to destroy America.

Fact: America faces no terrorist threats. Attacks in Oklahoma City, Boston, San Bernardino, Orlando, New York, and elsewhere were state-sponsored false flags.

They were part of a fear-mongering campaign, staged to enlist public support for compromising fundamental freedoms on the phony pretext of making the nation safer, along with unjustifiably justifying endless wars of aggression, targeting countries threatening no one.

America isn't combating ISIS, al-Qaeda, its al-Nusra offshoot and other terrorist groups. It created and supports them, deploying them to US war theaters as imperial foot soldiers.

Washington's war on terror is endless war OF terror on humanity - also called the Long War or Forever War that won't end in our lifetime, a boon for weapons and munitions makers, hell for victims of US aggression and most Americans.

Social justice in the country is fast eroding, US resources increasingly fueling America's war machine, along with benefitting its privileged class at the expense of most others.

On Sunday, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi accused Washington of complicity with Riyadh in waging terror-war on Yemen.

He commented on a deplorable White House statement, expressing support Saudi terror-bombing and blockade of Yemen, disgracefully blaming Iran and Houthi fighters for its high crimes, saying:

"Without a doubt the White House's statement shows and proves the US' responsibly in Saudi Arabia's crimes against Yemen."

Qassemi stressed Iran has no military ties to Yemeni Houthis. It's not supplying its fighters with missiles or other weapons. Blockade prevents their entry from any outside sources.

In early October, the UN blacklisted Saudi Arabia and other regional states allied with its war on Yemen for killing and injuring children, along with bombing dozens of schools, hospitals and other civilian targets - incidents verified by the world body.

Blacklisting is symbolic only, not subjecting listed nations to punitive world community action.

The so-called Saudi coalition includes Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, the UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco and Sudan - America their undeclared partner, complicit in nearly three years of genocidal war.
