A politico piece today finds Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Chairman Robert Menendez who recently released in memo:
“Given the pressure Republican candidates feel from the extreme right
in their party, there is a critical — yet time-sensitive — opportunity
for Democratic candidates,” the DSCC writes. “We have a finite window
when Republicans candidates will feel susceptible to the extremists in
their party. Given the urgent nature of this dynamic, we suggest an
aggressive effort to get your opponents on the record.”
The memo outlines example questions such as:
The memo outlines example questions such as:
"“Do you believe that Barack Obama is a U.S. citizen? Do you think the
10th Amendment bars Congress from issuing regulations like minimum
health care coverage standards? Do you think programs like Social
Security and Medicare represent socialism and should never have been
created in the first place? Do you think President Obama is a
socialist? Do you think America should return to a gold standard?”
The memo then recommends these differences should be made aware to us, the grassroots and to challengers of the RINO. Which is a laugh. As if we didn't already know.

Interesting, no? And scarcely a day after I do on record saying we're going to have to destroy elections before we can win them. For the dems it's pretty simple strategy. For us, it's even simpler. To have dems making distinctions of Constitutional law and self-branding as socialists should be fun, fun, fun. If they manage to charactarize RINOs as being Dems in disguise and claim a few for their side, heck if they claim ALL OF CONGRESS SAVE RON PAUL for their very own, I think that would be just spiffy.
And if getting called out by a Dem for being a socialist is what it takes to force a RINO into our ranks, I'm not sure we want them to begin with but maybe we can work with them.
Just watching the MSM try to figure out who can legitimately represent the grassroots for opinions should be a joke in itself (hint: Kokesh, Rose, Rockwell, Franchi, Goyette, Hancock, any of these would work). But do you see what's happening here? We're a force on the field now.

Things move fast when they get going eh? Now you can see which issues this particular Dem has avoided and that's ANTI-WAR. As of this moment, the left DOESN'T HAVE AN ANTIWAR MOVEMENT. Their intellectuals are waking up but their intellectuals have never steered their movement like happens in ours. The communists have always called the big street shots for the leftist antiwar movement.
Of course, antiwar is kryptonite to RINOs, so that realm remains uniquely our own. It's our wedge issue against EVERYBODY ELSE. It's how we can take back some bodies from the center-left.
Well, just hold on folks. This cart is in motion and the ride is gonna get rough. We wanted our ideas in the mainstream, and this is how we're getting there. And we'll regain some things we lost along the way recently: our unique identity. Our outsider status. Our moral high ground. Ultimately this will result in good things. And I'm thankful that it's coming now as opposed to later.

We might even have something more than a debutante's ball for the next election.
