This is the seventh article that we have written for Freedom’s Phoenix about a sinister plot in this nation to turn law enforcement against Christian Fundamentalists, Constitutionalists, patriots and those who believe in certain core beliefs that basically center on the idea of sovereignty, which is another word for freedom.  Freedom for the individual, for the family, for the church, and the nation.  In another words, if a person doesn’t want to be part of the “herd,” so to speak, they are to be marked as an “enemy of the state” and held out to ridicule, mockery, scorn, persecution, prosecution and eventually elimination.

 

The articles began on March 18 with a discussion of the Missouri Information Analysis (MIAC) report naming the followers of Congressman Ron Paul and Republican Presidential Candidate, Former Congressman Bob Barr and Libertarian Presidential Candidate, and Chuck Baldwin, Pastor of Crossroad Baptist Church of Pensacola, Florida and Constitutional Presidential Candidate, as “’militia’ influenced terrorists.” In the same report, others that police agencies should be on the “look out” for as being suspicious and dangerous characters are those who share the following philosophy:

 

Those who oppose: The New World Order, The United Nations, Gun Control, the violation of Posse Comitatus, the Federal Reserve, the Income Tax, the Ammunition Accountability Act, a possible Constitutional Convention (Con Con), The North American Union, Universal Service Program, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), Abortion on demand, Illegal Immigration, besides supporting such candidates as Ron Paul, Bob Barr or Pastor Chuck Baldwin for the Presidency of the United States of America.  According to the 1999 Undercover Officers Homegrown Extremists Seminar,  you can add the Fully Informed Jury and Common Law Courts to these.

 

We have also identified the organizations behind this effort to conquer by division as the following: Morris Dees - Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), Anti-Defamation League (ADL), Jewish Defense League (JDL) and the Klan Watch/Militia Task Force.  Besides the two Syllabus’ of 100 pages each, where it is obvious that a great deal of the MIAC material that was used in the 1999 Seminar was prepared by the SPLC and ADL, the following publications have been produced by the above organizations.  False Patriots –The Threat of Antigovernment Extremists – 1996 – Prepared by Klanwatch/Militia Task Force and SPLC.  Gathering Storm – Morris Dees with James Corcoran – 1996 (Harper/Collins).  In False Patriots, it says on page 49 under Prominent “Patriots” – “Greg Dixon, Indianapolis, Indiana.  Pastor of the non-affiliated Indianapolis Baptist Temple and frequent speaker at Patriot and Identity functions, Dixon is a strident tax protester and militia supporter.”  In Gathering Storm, it has the following quote on page 62 – “Greg Dixon of Indiana proffered “The Theology of Christian Resistance.”  Dees was talking about what he called the “Rendezvous at Estes Park” in October of 1992, when prominent patriot pastors, lawyers, doctors, professional men of various kinds, along with just plain lay folks, gathered to conduct an inquiry as to what happened in the Randy Weaver case and the murder of his 14 year old son and wife Vickie.  Guess who was there to film the event?  You guessed it, Dees and his wicked crowd of God haters, until they were discovered and ran off, but apparently they had bugged the place ahead of time. 

 

The scripture says, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil…;” To make our law enforcement officials believe that the above activity is criminal, and that Christian patriots are a threat to the peace of our nation would have to be demonic in itself.  I have never spoken at an “Identity” meeting, but what if I had, would that be a crime?  See how these people put seeds of doubt in the minds of good people?  They try to put you on the defense, and we must not let them.

 

You see folks, until the Patriot Act, our government was using private, voluntary organizations like the ones mentioned above to do their dirty work, including reporters and preachers, and then they would report their findings to them.  But they weren’t getting the desired results, so enter 911 and the Patriot Act.  Are things becoming more in focus?

 

I believe the reason that these people are bent on destroying constitutional government in America is because they are totally deluded.  One of their own, Elliott Abrams, tells of the delusion in a book entitled Faith or Fear – How Jews Can Survive in a Christian America – 1990 (Simon & Schuster).  Abrams is one of the most prominent Jews in this country.  He served in foreign policy positions under Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush. He was Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director on the National Security Council under Bush.  He also served as Deputy National Security Advisor under Bush. 

 

The entire premise of his 237-page book is very simple.  The Jewish community in America made a decision long ago that America 90% a “Christian” nation.  The Constitution is a “Christian” document.  Jews must do something or we will no longer have any status in this land.  In fact, we may see another holocaust as we have seen in other “Christian” lands like Europe.  Therefore the only way to survive in “Christian” America is to work to make it a secular state, not only doctrinally as far as “Christianity” is concerned, but “Christian” morals as well.  Hence we must do away with prayer in schools, even silent prayer, even in Jewish schools, all mention of God, even in the pledge and in our coins, and in the National Anthem, abortion on demand, legalization of sodomy, “gay” rights, same sex marriage, elimination of all blue laws, Miranda rights, and on and on and on. 

 

Christians, are you beginning to get the picture?  What gives Christians the guarantee to practice their faith in public? The First Amendment. Therefore, if you are a Constitutionalist, you are an enemy of the state.  Now do you understand the assault on the family?  These groups deny the doctrine of total depravity, therefore they want to outlaw corporal punishment and capital punishment.  It is an assault on the Christian Bible and the Christian faith.  They also hate the doctrine of male authority and the Biblical role of the woman, therefore enter the equal rights amendment. 

 

We Christians have fallen into their hands like a ripe plum.  First, we have not understood the Christian roots of our Constitutional government.  We have not practiced our faith.  We have allowed ourselves to be on the defensive.  We must learn to stand up to these bullies, and also stand up for those that they are trying to bully even if we don’t agree with them on every point of doctrine. 

 

We need to stop letting these, whose ancestors were not even here at the time of the Revolutionary War, and who never left one bloody foot print at “Valley Forge”, and never looked into the “whites of their eyes” at Bunker Hill, nor knew what it was like to shed their blood that day at Lexington Green, that we are just not interested in hearing any more from their loud mouths nor poison pens.  We need to emphasize to them that the very Constitution that they are trying to destroy is the Christian document that has given them and we Bible thumping Christians the only safe refuge that either of us have had for the last two thousand years.
