Be assured, regardless of what any of the modern day false prophets might say to the contrary, and even though such an individual is only mentioned by the name Antichrist one time in the scriptures, a character of this type will  literally appear on the world stage at the end of the age just before the Lord Jesus returns to set up His millennial kingdom.

 

In fact, the Bible has much to say about the Antichrist and his career. Outside of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, he will be the most prominent personage that will ever appear upon the world scene in the history of the world, and will affect the lives of every man, woman and child on the face of the earth as to their well being here and as to their destiny in eternity.

 

John the Apostle specifically refers to him as the “Antichrist.” Paul the Apostle called him the “Man of Sin.”

 

But the name that has caused the saints to shudder down through the centuries is the word that John the Revelator used throughout the Apocalypse, and that is simply “the Beast.” The meaning is clear: the writer means to leave the unmistakable image of a man who acts within the realm of a wild, untamed, ferocious, brutal, savage, bestial like man. A Hitler, a Stalin, a Genghis Kan, a Mao, etc. A man totally void of a conscience towards God or man. When his little time on earth is over, more than four billion souls will have been killed.

 

He will come in like a lamb, according to Revelation Chapter six, but it won’t be long until he will reveal his real nature as that of a wild beast that will turn on both Christian and Jew with a blood thirst that no tyrant in history has ever exhibited. His economic program will be ruthless and unforgiving, as recorded by John.

 

Rev 13:1  And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.  [Rev.14:11]

 

I must admit that when I hear President-Elect Obama talk about raising taxes, I think about the fact that the prophet Daniel says that Antichrist will be a “raiser of taxes” [Dan. 11:20].

 

When he talks about solving the financial problems, and “sharing the wealth,” and bringing about universal prosperity, I think of those other words in Daniel, And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand  [Da 8:25]

 

I also think of that other verse about the word “peace” that Daniel talks about in the Eleventh Chapter, … but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

 

We also know that people will actually worship this man as God. But why should we be surprised? Man has always worshiped leaders in this manner. The Pharaohs, the Roman Emperors, even Hitler was adored as being god-like. In the history of America we have never had anyone come on the political stage that has exuded the god-like aura that Barak Obama has garnered from his followers.

 

Just a casual search of the internet produced the following information, which is nothing short of blasphemy and comes very close to fulfilling what we just read above:  and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? [Rev. 13:3c-4]

 

Remember when Antichrist comes, unbelieving Christians including the Catholic world will accept him as The Christ; unbelieving Jews will accept him as their Messiah; the Shiite Muslims, looking for the 12th Iman called Al Mahdi who they believe will bring peace and justice to the earth, will no doubt be happy to embrace him; and all of the other religions of the world will probably be glad to accept him as their long awaited holy one.

 

The world is longing for the New World Order that the Tree Huggers and pot smokers call the Age of Aquarius, which will be the dawn of a new age where there is only peace, and the lamb and lion will lie down together and man will know war no more. One web site says that many of the nations of the world actually see Barak Obama as the President of the World.

 

Obviously we are seeing something that has never happened before in our lifetime. Could this be that man that the Bible has been predicting for these thousands of years? You be the judge.

Now let’s see what Mr. Obama has in store for the nations youth. He has announced through the media he will develop a plan to require 50 hours of community service beginning in middle school and high school and 100 hours in college every year. Is the purpose to “radicalize” American youth or in reality are these precursors to re-education camps like in communist countries.  Please see the next step to follow. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."  Is this like a  Hitler Brown Shirts answerable to Barak Obama in America?

We might say, then, that Obama is not only post-partisan and post-racial, but post-platonist. The context in which he lives, moves, and has his being may have been first designed in the 300’s B.C.; but it was radically re-designed in the First Century, A.D.

NEW YORK: It's unusual. But, it's a fact. Barack Obama, the presumptive Democratic party's presidential nominee, is seeking the blessings of Hanuman in his battle for the White House.

 

The 46-year-old senator from Illinois, who defeated his rival Hillary Clinton in an epic 17-month long electoral battle for Democratic party (sic) nomination, carries a "tiny monkey god" apparently representing "Hanuman" with him for good luck.

 

This means that President elect Obama is an idolator in violation of the first commandment, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”

Obviously to the student of the Bible several scriptures literally jump off the pages of Holy Writ. Paul said, [2Co 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.]

 

The Lord Jesus said, [Mt 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

First off, I personally do not believe that President Elect Obama is the Antichrist.  But based on his personal statements as to his beliefs on the person of Christ and his membership in the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago where Jeremiah Wright was his pastor for twenty years I can safely safe that Barack Obama is “An Antichrist” according to the Apostle John as recorded at 1John 2:22. It says -  Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

 

In an interview with Cathleen Falsani of the Chicago Sun Times, Barack Obama candidly expressed his religious views. He said that he doesn’t read the Bible or pray regularly. He is suspicious of dogma and certainly thinks that “religion at its best comes with a big dose of doubt.” He believes that Jesus is a wonderful teacher, that sin is “being out of alignment with my values,” and that heaven might be “now or in the hereafter.” He doesn’t “presume to have knowledge of what happens after I die.” Though he claims to reject religious dogmatism, he dogmatically rejects the doctrine of hell. He rejects “the belief that people that haven’t embraced Jesus Christ as their personal savior are going to hell.” He says, “I find it hard to believe that my God would consign four-fifths of the world to hell. I can’t imagine that my God would allow some little Hindu kid in India who never interacts with the Christian faith to somehow burn for all eternity. That’s just not part of my religious makeup.” (Obama’s Interview with Cathleen Falsani,” BeliefNet, Nov. 11, 2008)

 

Barack Obama's words are not in agreement with the words of Jesus, the author of Eternal Salvation.  The Lord never said that this present world would or ever should see religious harmony because everyone will not choose to serve him. The Lord himself said in the scripture at Matt. 10:34-36, Think not that I am come to send peace on earth. I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

The Lord Jesus Christ has always been the dividing line because he said at 1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

According to Jennifer Riley of the Christian Post, Obama was again emphatic on this subject of universalism in a Town Hall meeting in Greensboro, N.C., March 26. While answering a question about his Christian faith, he said that he believes that Jesus Christ died for his sins and through God’s grace and mercy he could have “everlasting life” -- but he also believes Jews and Muslims and non-believers who live moral lives are as much “children of God” as he is.

 

If this is true, this is not the Christ of the Bible, and it is not the person that Christ Himself introduced Himself to be at John 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The Apostle John has even more to say on this subject in these next two verses.

 

1Jo 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

 2Jo 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

 

There is no way that Mr. Obama could not know of this god-like adulation that the masses are exhibiting toward him.  He needs to humble himself as John the Baptist and cry out against these people and say, “I am not the Christ.”  If he doesn’t do it, the worms may eat him as they did Herod as recorded at Acts 12:22,23 And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man. And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost. 

Wikipedia: Liberation Theology is a school of theology within Christianity, particularly in the Roman Catholic Church. It emphasizes the Christian mission to bring justice to the poor and oppressed, particularly through political activism. Its theologians consider sin the root source of poverty, recognizing sin as capitalism, and capitalism as class war by the rich against the poor.

 

Jeremiah Wright, who baptized Obama and was his pastor for twenty years at Trinity Church, believes and espouses the Marxist concept of the Gospel which is called Liberation Theology. It is even worse than the social gospel because it is the Communist brand of the social gospel that is the gospel to the poor by “spreading the wealth” in the “Robin Hood” method. You steal from the rich by force or you use the taxing power of the government to spread the wealth. This is exactly the platform that Obama was elected on for President.  They preach another Jesus, another gospel and exhibit another spirit as Paul mentioned at 2 Corinthians 11:4.

 

I actually heard a young lady call in on the Hannity show and say that she believed it was right for rich people to be taxed to pay for poor people’s health care. In other words, she had no problem with government breaking the seventh commandment, “Thou shalt not steal.” I heard an elderly black pastor’s wife call in on the Hannity show and tell how her conscience was bothering her because she voted for Obama knowing that he was for abortion, but she couldn’t get past the race issue.  She broke the fifth commandment, “thou shalt not kill,” and yet preachers refuse to speak from the pulpits in the political arena for fear of losing their tax exemption, and are putting their dear people in eternal jeopardy. How can preachers be neutral and even silent on these great life and death issues. Movie, video, T.V., Radio, Sports, newscasters, are not silent and yet the preachers are like the rivers of the Arctic, frozen at the mouth.

 

Is Obama the Antichrist? No I don’t think he is, but he may very well be a trial run. We may be seeing a preview of how it’s going to be one day when the real “Man of Sin” appears on the world scene.
