Harris - who took more than a month to give an interview with a major media outlet after announcing her run for president - was filmed boarding her flight as she left Joint Base Andrews in Maryland to campaign across the midwest.

As she continues to face scrutiny for avoiding more interviews, he decision to wear the headphones has triggered a wave of more hilarious theories.

'Kamala is in over her head… hiding behind EarPods leadership for cowards 101', wrote one person.

In the clip, journalists can be overheard trying to get Harris' attention, but the Vice President simply waved dismissively while adjusting her headphones as if she was taking a call.

Social media users were not amused by the tactic, claiming Harris is desperate to avoid questioning.

One viewer out that Harris looked insensitive after an American citizen and Hamas hostage was confirmed dead Monday.

'An American Hostage gets killed and she literally is trying to block out questions about it. Unreal'.

'Sorry, too busy to answer questions. I'm listening to the new Taylor Swift song', wrote another.

Someone spotted the potential tactic, writing: 'Headphones? One way to avoid the scrum / questions.'

It comes as Harris was ripped to shreds for her 'word salad' answers in a softball liberal media interview - her first since Joe Biden dropped out 40 days ago.

The Democratic nominee appeared beside her running mate Tim Walz for an hour-long broadcast - which in reality amounted to less than half an hour of actual questioning by Dana Bash.

The liberal commentariat claimed that she had succeeded by following the tenet of 'do no harm' during the pre-recorded broadcast from Savannah, Georgia.
