The DNC May Nominate Biden a Month Early to Stop Replacement Calls
• https://mishtalk.com, By MishAccording to Bloomberg, the Democratic National Committee is considering formally nominating Joe Biden as early as mid-July to ensure that the president is on November ballots, while helping to stamp out intra-party chatter of replacing him after last week's poor debate performance.
On July 21, the credentials committee meets virtually, according to people familiar with the matter, who spoke on condition of anonymity. Democrats had already planned to nominate Biden, 81, before their August convention in order to ensure he appears on the ballot in Ohio, which had an Aug. 7 deadline for candidates to be certified.
Democrats were expected to have a virtual convention before August 7, but now they are discussion moving it up further to squash replacement talk.
Question of the Day
There was no primary to speak of so … Might I ask, why have a full convention either?

2) It's not going to squash all the talk because Biden can *still be replaced* afterward until ballots are printed: A new candidate would be chosen by the DNC https://t.co/4KEqGM35PJ
