Billionaire TikToker who's become one of the most influential election voices online gives shock

The billionaire co-founder of Susquehanna International Group (SIG) - who has a $21 billion stake in TikTok - has placed his bet on the winner of this year's presidential election.

Jeff Yass - a skilled poker player with a keen sense for getting large returns on his investments - is currently the richest man in Pennsylvania with a personal fortune of $47 billion.

Yass has doled out some of his fortune to various organizations and has become one of the largest backers of the antitax political advocacy group Club for Growth.

The billionaire is rumored to be in consideration for a potential spot in the presidential cabinet, if his predicted winner comes out on top: Donald Trump

His political fortunes may not be a surprise for those who know Yass, but his support for Trump comes as a shock to those familiar with the businessman's onetime opinions of presidential candidate.

'He doesn't have any donors. He doesn't need the money. He gets so much free publicity,' Yass told the Wall Street Journal in 2022.

'It's not like you can influence him at all. The only thing you can appeal to is, 'You're gonna lose and be humiliated.'

A New York native, Yass wrote his thesis about the ethics of options trading while attending SUNY Binghamton.

He studied economics and math while having fun playing poker and backgammon.
