Tesla needs 100 GWh/year of batteries to bring its second Megapack line in its Lathrop factory and two new Megapack factories in China up to full production. This would be 120 GWH/year from three fully ramped Megapack factories. This would be seven times the production of the current Lathrop Megapack line running at about 80-90% capacity. This would be $55 billion per year in revenue and about $16 billion per year in profit.
