It can lift off vertically to altitudes of up to 12,000 feet (3,658 meter) and land precisely on a small footprint. The suit has five engines and 1050 horsepower. It can run on jet fuel, diesel, or kerosene. Users can direct the jetpack by moving their arms as if they are leaning on a table.

The suit's inventor, Richard Browning, broke the world speed record with a top speed of over 85 mph. The 3D-printed suit nearly tripled the old record. The suit weighs 100 pounds, including five gallons of jet fuel.
