A former assistant FBI director revealed to congress that the bureau hired SO MANY paid "informants" to go undercover at the Capitol on Jan. 6 that they LOST TRACK!

Steven D'Antuono, who formerly ran the FBI's Washington field office, shared with the House Judiciary Committee that his field office knew they would have some of their own informants in place, but it turned out that there were many more from other field offices who were also sent in.
