Reports reveal that a recent investigation at a deserted Reedley, California building that contained an "empty" laboratory uncovered large-scale illegal biotech operations with bioengineered mice and about 800 chemicals and infectious agents.

An accidental discovery of the facility happened in April and was prompted by a simple garden hose that was illegally attached to the back of the building, Fresno County Department of Public Health officials said.

Investigators discovered that one room of the warehouse was used to produce Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) tests and pregnancy tests. In other rooms, investigators found blood, tissue, and other bodily fluid samples. They also found thousands of vials that contained unlabeled fluids. According to court documents, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) tested what they could and determined that at least 20 potentially infectious viral, bacterial, and parasitic agents were present including E.
