US presidential candidate Robert Kennedy called for a dialogue with Russia. He made his statement on Fox News. "My uncle and Khrushchev have achieved an extraordinary friendship with each other. They spoke to each other. We often grew up with the idea that we won the war, America defeated Hitler. My uncle said no, the Russians won the war," Kennedy said. However, he once again accused the United States of unleashing a conflict between Russia in Ukraine. Kennedy said NATO's post-Cold War expansion has prompted Russia to take an increasingly defensive and ultimately hostile stance. The audience cheered for his words.
