Chinese Surveillance Balloon Over Western U.S. Now Under Surveillance by U.S. Military -

After a bit of a dust-up last night when a Chinese high-altitude balloon was discovered over the continental United States (near a military installation equipped with ICBMs, no less), China has released an official statement claiming that this was not a surveillance balloon, but rather a weather balloon that simply drifted off course.
