Wayans, who is known for his roles in the weekly comedy series "In Living Color" as well as the films "White Chicks," "Scary Movie," Requiem for a Dream," and "Marmaduke," defended his White Chicks role in an interview with Buzzfeed. The film is a comedy about a pair of black FBI agents going undercover as two white girls.

Asked if he believed the movie could "thrive" in today's hyper-politicized cultural climate, Wayans responded, "I think they're needed."

"I don't know what planet we're on, where you think people don't need laughter, and that people need to be censored and canceled," he said. "If a joke is gonna get me canceled, thank you for doing me that favor."

He went on to say he doesn't listen to the online chatter and complaints from the woke mob.

"It's sad that society is in this place where we can't laugh anymore," Wayans continued. "I ain't listening to this damn generation. I ain't listening to these folks: These scared-ass people, these scared executives."

The Daily Wire added:

Wayans said that those who want to censor their content as to not offend people should be free to do so and that if they decide that they want to make more money by not caring and giving society the politically incorrect humor that it wants that they should "jump on board."
