Liberal America, despite ostensibly winning the presidential election, agonized over the prospect of four more years of Trump. Democrats cared little about how votes were cast or counted, they wanted the orange man gone, and that was it.

Conservative America, on the other hand, wasn't so sure about the election results. In their estimation, Joe Biden, who ran a campaign from his basement, was dragged across the finish line by a coalition of big tech censors, highly questionable vote-by-mail schemes, and an establishment media environment so hostile to the sitting president that it would rather ruin itself than allow Trump to once again sit in the Oval (see CNN). As Sen. Josh Hawley pointed out time and again, states literally broke their own laws in order to guarantee a vast vote-by-mail scheme.

While it is true that a few irresponsible actors made some wild and false accusations about the 2020 election, most conservatives' concerns were quite valid. Literally everything about the election was unprecedented and warranted more scrutiny at the legal level. And so throughout November and December, peaceful rallies took place across the country, with attendees promising to raise their voices in unison to let their leaders know they weren't happy with how their elections were managed.
