Karl Widerquist is hosting a workshop series that will feature lectures by international guest speakers from the field of basic income research. The series continues on May 17 2022 with talks by Michael Bohmeyer, Amy Castro & Stacia West.

Michael Bohmeyer, founder of Mein Grundeinkommen e. V., will talk about the "Pilotprojekt Grundeinkommen" he initiated, which is the first long-term study on UBI in Germany.

The value of pilot studies and experiments on the BGE is controversial in basic income research. In their lecture "The case for Basic Income Experiments". Amy Castro and Stacia West (both from the University of Pennsylvania) will argue that experiments should be continued in the future.
