General Hospital star Ingo Rademacher, 50, is suing ABC over its on-set vaccine mandate, calling it 'unconstitutional'

 The actor, who played Jasper 'Jax Jacks' on the show for 25 years shared a a post on Instagram, claiming he stands with the 'fight for medical freedom'

He, along with co-actor Steve Burton, applied for religious exemption from getting the coronavirus vaccine in November before ABC rejected his appeal 

Burton tested positive for COVID in August, but did not pursue legal charges against the network

Several production companies in Hollywood have applied similar on-set mandates, but there is no official requirement for actors to vaccinate themselves

Rademacher's dismissal came shortly after critics suggested he was 'transphobic', including General Hospital trans co-star Cassandra James

The actor decided not to cross out the word 'dude' when he shared a tweet from a conservative commentator who was using the word referring to Rachel Levine

Levine is currently the first transgender four-star officer to be sworn into office
