The NBA informed players that, due to Canada 's travel restrictions, they could face criminal charges if they are unvaccinated and breach quarantine in Toronto 

Violations can result in a six-month prison sentence or a $750,000 fine

Unvaccinated players can only leave their hotel rooms for team activities

The Raptors played an exhibition in Toronto on Monday, which was their first game in Canada since February of 2020 due to international travel restrictions
