Attorney General Merrick Garland said he would "scrutinize" audits defending the election integrity of the 2020 presidential vote, drawing a strong warning from Arizona state Sen. Wendy Rogers in a tweet.

"You will not touch Arizona ballots or machines unless you want to spend time in an Arizona prison," Rogers alerted Garland shortly after Garland made his announcement, according to her June 11 message.

She added: "Maybe you should focus on stopping terrorism. The Justice Department is one of the most corrupt institutions in the USA," concluding with a denunciation no less expressive of the controversial direction of affairs the DOJ has taken.
