Encryption is a Human Right

• MaidSafe - YouTube.com

Encryption, using the beauty of mathematics, allows us to keep private information private. What we read, the questions we ask, our location, who we vote for, what we say to our lawyer, the medication we take, what we spend our wages on, what we eat for breakfast.

Privacy itself, is consent. Encryption allows us to express that consent. It also allows you to own things, and prove you own them too. It also allows public information to stay in the public domain. Knowledge that can benefit everyone, available to anyone.

Encryption is a human right.

And it's why we're building the Safe Network.
