Biden campaign rapid response director Andrew Bates appeared to reject Comey's endorsement, joking that he had received a "package" he didn't want.

It just confirms that the DNC and mainstream Dems still blame Comey for Trump's victory over Clinton, citing his decision to re-open the investigation into her as the deciding factor that led to Trump's election.

Though he's presumably still being investigated by the DOJ he once helped to lead, former FBI director and (eternal) Trump antagonist James Comey apparently thinks it would be helpful for American voters, especially the #resistance true believers, to know whom he has decided to back in the Democratic Primary.

Unsurprisingly, it wasn't Bernie Sanders.
