Ricky Davis walked free from El Dorado County jail after serving 14 years behind bars for the 1985 murder of Jayne Hylton   

The innocent man was pictured smiling as he left the jail surrounded by his family and friends

Davis finally won his freedom Thursday when a judge threw out his second-degree murder conviction in an emotional court hearing in Placerville 

Police had tracked down and arrested the 'real killer' by running the suspect's DNA profile through genealogy websites 

Michael Green, 51, was arrested Tuesday in Roseville for the murder

On the night Hylton was killed, Green - a juvenile at the time - was one of three boys who had met the victim's 13-year-old daughter Autumn Anker
