The Supreme Court has temporarily shielded the bank records of President Donald Trump and his three oldest children 

The order was signed off on Friday by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, after an application was filed with the Court by Trump's lawyers 

Now, House Democrats cannot enforce subpoenas issued to Deutsche Bank and Capital One until at least December 13 

It's a victory for Trump as it gives his lawyers more time to appeal a lower court ruling which found that the House was able enforce the subpoenas to the banks 

Trump - has long tried to keep his bank records secret - sued Deutsche Bank and Capital One in an effort to prevent the disclosure of his finances 

He is also trying to block his financial records from being released in two separate cases expected to be discussed by the Supreme Court later this month
