The first footage for Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker was shared with attendees at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, CA, on Saturday.

And on Monday the rest of the world got a look at the scenes, which revealed plenty.

Rey, played by Daisy Ridley, is seen wielding a red double light saber as she fights her nemesis Kylo Ren, played by Adam Driver. And at the end of the clip, Darth Vader's heavy breathing can be heard, confirming that he does indeed have a role in this last Skywalker movie, which comes out in December.

Luke, Leia, and Han are seen from Star Wars: A New Hope in 1977.

And there is additional footage from the other two early movies, The Empire Strikes Back and The Return Of The Jedi as dramatic music plays in the background.
