This is the moment specialist divers rescue an 'agitated and fearful' killer whale after it became tangled in fishing nets intended to catch spider crabs.

The animal was spotted in distress on a Patagonian port, about 2000 miles out to sea from the Chilean capital of Santiago.

Fishermen spotted the creature, and reported it to the Chilean navy.
