[The issue, however, is deeper than that. Apparently, the Times believes that skin color is the most important factor in creating a sense of community. The 'new arrivals' described here are, of course, immigrants who are bringing with them, not only a difference in skin color, but a huge difference in culture, which they intend to see replace the culture that now exists in New Hampshire. The fact that the Times sees skin color – any skin color – of a community as 'a problem' but sees no problem with the influx of a foreign culture which is fundamentally opposed to the traditional values of America, speaks loudly about the mindset of the paper's owners and editors. What is that mindset?
