President Trump argued Tuesday that special counsel Robert Mueller has fatally wounded attorney-client privilege in America, after Mueller ordered a raid on the office of Trump's personal lawyer Monday.

"Attorney–client privilege is dead!" Trump tweeted Tuesday morning, hours after the raid on the office of lawyer Michael Cohen.

"A TOTAL WITCH HUNT!!!" Trump continued in a second tweet.

Reports of the raid say the FBI agents collected documents related to Cohen's payment to porn star Stormy Daniels, who alleged that she had an affair with Trump and was paid to keep silent about it.

Trump has long been frustrated with the the special counsel's investigation, which was started to look for evidence of collusion between Russia and the 2016 Trump campaign.
