Winter storm system Quinn is threatening to dump more than 2ft of snow on the east coast Wednesday

Quinn started brewing in the west late last week and has been making its way across the country 

It is expected to dump up to a foot of snow on parts of New York and up to two feet on upper New England

In some coastal towns gusts of wind could get up to 50mph, but flooding won't be as severe as the last storm 

Comes after storm Riley pummeled the east coast last week, killing 9 and leaving 2million without power
