Life doesn't end when you hit your 40's, 50's, or 60's, contrary to popular belief. In fact, even when one is 90 or past 100-years-old, they're still capable of pulling off incredible feats. Take Robert Marchand, for example. The 105-year-old bicyclist recently set a new record for the fastest cycling time!

The grandiose feat, which witnessed Marchand pedaling 14.08 miles in one hour, took place at the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines velodrome track near Paris. The new world record is 2.65 miles shorter than the previous record set in 2014 by participants aged 100 and older, reports AFP news agency. Now, Marchand can claim that he has pedaled the most distance in one hour by anyone aged 105 of older.

Even though the centenarian cycled 14.08 miles – a feat most would be jealous of, he claims he could have done better if he hadn't missed the 10-minute warning sign at minute 50. He told AFP news agency:

"I'm not in such good shape as I was a couple of years back. I am not here to be champion. I am here to prove that at 105 years old you can still ride a bike."
