Michael T. Flynn has been in the news quite a bit lately. The former Army general and lifelong Democrat was once the deputy director of national intelligence and later became the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, which were both positions that he was appointed to by President Obama. After being forced into retirement for being outspoken on the threat posed by radical Islam, he has spent his days criticizing America's foreign policy regarding ISIS, has become an ardent supporter of Donald Trump, and is widely speculated to be his future running mate.

With that said, it's no surprise that Flynn doesn't have anything nice to say about the administration that sacked him. In fact, during a recent interview with the Daily Caller, he spilled the beans on the ineptitude of Obama and the short-sighted nature of his foreign policy.

According to Flynn, President Obama never once met him in person while he was running the Defense Intelligence Agency. Even as Libya and Egypt were falling apart and ISIS was gaining ground, he never saw the General, who likely had all of the information needed to prevent these catastrophes.

"Here I am, running one of the largest intelligence agencies in the world."He told the Daily Caller "He appoints me twice — one as the assistant director of national intelligence and one as the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency. I'm also his senior intelligence officer. And I had almost five years in combat…I never met with him once."

This isn't the first time he has made a claim of this magnitude. Last year he became the highest ranking official to admit that the government was sponsoring radical Islamic groups in Syria.
