The fact that many of America's politicians are total hypocrites would probably not shock most Americans at this point, what with Congress' abysmal nine percent approval rating… but it is a point that gets reaffirmed every single day.

Take the recent gun control "sit in" (that turned out to be a fundraising stunt) by House Democrats. Would it surprise you to learn that no less than 26 of them are gun owners?

Heat Street did an analysis and pointed out:

The controversial sit-in included 26 Democratic lawmakers who themselves own guns, Heat Street learned after examining 2013 USA Today data on congressional firearms ownership. The participants also included 12 more Democrats in Congress who either didn't respond to USA Today's gun survey or declined to say whether or not they possessed a firearm.

What's more, one of the main arguments against the "no-fly no-buy" so-called loophole is that it would strip Americans of their 2nd Amendment rights without due process, pre-crime style.

Well, no one should know this better than Dem. Rep. John Lewis, the Democrat who staged the sit-in for the no-fly, no-buy legislation to begin with and who just so happened to have erroneously wound up on the no fly list himself!

Hypocrites. All of 'em.
