The websites of several House Democrats remain down Tuesday following attacks by hackers that began shortly after last week's gun control sit-in.

DCS, the company contracted to manage the websites, told POLITICO's Eric Geller that more than a dozen Democrats were targeted last Thursday just two hours after the gun control sit-in.

"The sites were hacked," Scott Ferson, the president of the public affairs group representing DCS, told POLITICO – claiming "no information was compromised."

A "site under maintenance" notice can be found on the websites of "Reps. Earl Blumenauer, John Carney, Rosa DeLauro, Lloyd Doggett, Tammy Duckworth, Donna Edwards, Sam Farr, Tulsi Gabbard, Alan Grayson, Marcy Kaptur, William Keating, John Larson, Jim McDermott, Richard Neal, Ed Perlmutter, Jackie Speier and Filemon Vela."
