Laura Ingraham: 'How far will establishment go to kill off Trump?'

• prisonplanet.com

The discussion over whether the GOP front-runner will get the coveted 1,237 delegates needed to clinch the Republican nomination is not the issue, Ingraham noted on Fox News' "Hannity" on Tuesday.

"Unless something wacky happens over the next four to six weeks," Ingraham said, Trump will enter the Republican National Convention in July with the most delegates and the most votes.

"The only question is, how far will the Republican establishment go to kill off this guy who is the most popular of all the other candidates?" she asked, adding that she was only offering analysis, "not an endorsement of Trump."

Ingraham pointed out that the Party elites are calling out Trump for the negative tone of his campaign rhetoric but are guilty of the same, with reports that Trump staffers were being blacklisted if they ever try to work in political circles again.

"Who has the bad tone now? Is it Trump?" Ingraham said, "or is it the GOP establishment that seems like it's pulling out every stop to try to stop him from getting this nomination."
