Three (Far-Fetched) Theories for How NY's Primary Was Rigged

• Wired

In a late-night victory speech at Trump Tower, flanked by members of his family and supporters including tech investor Carl Icahn, Trump was happy.

But not happy enough to refrain from condemning a primary system that might allow Senator Ted Cruz to walk away from a contested convention as the nominee, despite the fact that Trump has been racking up decisive wins in not just New York but across the country.

"The people aren't going to stand for it," Trump said. "It's a crooked system. It's a system that's rigged."

And Trump wasn't the only one making that claim yesterday. For people on both sides of the aisle who like to claim that the system is rigged—which includes most prominently Bernie Sanders supporters—Tuesday's primary provided plenty of fodder.
