Tonopah Rob's Carrots and beets are on the menu for the dinner.

This upcoming weekend will go down in Tonopah Rob's history book as the first of many farm fund-raiser dinners.  "Dine under the Stars" farm dinner will be a great event.  It is sponsored by Arizona Culinary Institute, (ACI), Page Springs Winery / Arizona Stronghold Vineyard and Pierre's Prime Beef Ranch.

Graffiti Cauliflower will be served for the dinner.

Yummy Brussels Sprouts will be pan seared for the dinner too.

Executive Chef Christopher Wolf and owner/Head Chef of ACI Rob Wilson and their entourage will be catering the event.  All the food will be picked fresh the morning of the dinner.  The menu is fabulous.  From Brisket to Tangelo Sorbet Ice Cream will be prepared at the farm.  Chef Chris and his team are all volunteering their talents and will stir up a delicious farm to table supper.

The dinner begins at 3:45 p.m.  There will be a tour of the farm and Aquaponic greenhouse.  Once we return to the farm stand dinner will be served.

Here's the menu:

Arizona Grass-fed Beef Brisket, grilled and Sous Vide, served with a BBQ Demi-glaze

Soft-boiled farm eggs with truffle vinaigrette and chives

Brussels sprouts, pan seared with bacon and onion

Carrots and Fennel glazed with dill-honey-lemon vinaigrette

Curried Cauliflower (various colors): Green Romanesco, Purple Graffiti and White Cloud with red-wine vinegar raisins, roasted peppers, olive oil, lemon and cilantro

Pan roasted caramelized Turnips with parsley

Beets with blue cheese, walnuts and citrus vinaigrette

Farm-fresh salad greens to accompany the vegetable dishes

Dessert:

Tangelo-Sour Cream Pound Cake with Tangelo Sorbet

Wine:

2012 Mangus, Arizona Red Table Wine

2011 Tazi, Arizona White Table Wine

There are a few tickets left for the dinner.  The cost is $150.00 per person. Please call in your reservation and you may pay by credit card. Tonopah Rob's phone number is 623 386 3033. Wednesday March 25, 2015 is the last day for ticket sales.

Please note:  There will be No Saturday Markets this weekend. The farm stand and all other locations Tonopah Rob participates in will not be selling this weekend.  All of Rob's focus is on the farm dinner this weekend.  Now, there will be a Sunday market Rob will attend in Tucson at the St. Phillips Plaza.  Next weekend March 28, 2015 the farm stand will be closed because this weekend is the City of Buckeye Farmers Market. Please note, the Fat Cat Farmers Market at the Community Church of Joy will be business as usual, it's the farm stand in Tonopah that will not be open.
