The movement to legalize cannabis is gaining more and more momentum every day. Already this year, another three states approved pot legalization bills. Several more states, like Florida, Oregon - even Washington DC is putting pot up to a vote this November. Illinois signed medicinal marijuana into law January 1st. Just this week, they're starting to accept applications for cannabis dispensaries throughout the Land of Lincoln. There's one big problem though: a big logjam. More than 2 million residents in Chicago alone are waiting for treatments, but the city is only opening 13 locations. That boils down to over 150 thousand patients per location. In the rest of the state, another 5 HUNDRED companies are putting their name in the hat for a chance to be an approved dispensary. They might need a little luck.
