Sixty New York Police Officers Begin Wearing Body Cameras

Bratton believes the cameras demonstrate the departments commitment to transparency and he expects the officers to begin wearing them this Fall. Six command areas were chosen to test the program, including the 120th precinct on Staten Island. The 120th precinct just so happens to patrol the neighborhood where Eric Garner recently died at the hands of NYPD officers.
