• Next News Network
The House of Representatives in Washington recently moved to cut off funding for raids on medical marijuana dispensaries. The amendment to a spending bill was sponsored by California representatives Sam Farr, a Democrat, and Republican Dana Rohrabacher. It passed on a vote of 219 to 189. A total of 49 GOP members voted in favor of the move, enough to pass the full House. The Marijuana Policy Project is declaring "Congress is officially pulling out of the war on medical marijuana patients and providers."
