Guy builds real-life Wolverine claws that extend and retract

• http://www.dvice.com, Raymond Wong

To celebrate to release of X-Men: Days of Future Past, Colin Furze, of 53 miles per hour Mad Max Stroller and world's longest motorcycle fame has built himself a pair of real, working Wolverine claws that extend and retract.

Each metal claw (sorry, not Adamantium) measures 12 inches long and 2mm thick and is capable of slicing through cardboard, cutting up evil watermelons, and murdering Mystique-shaped blow up dolls with ease. As if all of that wasn't badass enough, the claws also create sparks when rubbed together, just like Wolverine's fictional counterpart. We doubt security is going to let Furze and his Wolverine claws into any comic con.

The only downside to Furze's Wolverine claws is that they require a backpack with an air tank and valves in order to work. No biggie. Just cover it up with a fake muscle suit and you're good to go dude.
