Dorian Satoshi Nakamoto’s statement, released early Monday by his lawyer, calls the magazine story “a false report” and says it has harmed his prospects for gainful employment. The statement further states the article has been the source of a great deal of confusion and stress.
Nakamoto, in the statement, says this will be his final public comment on the matter and asks that his privacy be respected.
The article by Newsweek has fallen under fire for alleged inaccuracies in its reporting.
The magazine stands by its story.
