NATION | Could another mobile headset computer make a technological leap over Google Glass before that device even becomes popular? By now, most people have heard of Google Glass. The mobile display unit is making news, before it even becomes common. There are many activities a user can perform with the device. Now, Motorola is introducing the HC1 headset computer, an even more advanced system. Users control the device using a combination of voice commands and physical gestures. The mobile computing headset accepts commands in six languages. Users can command the headset while speaking English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, or Spanish. Motorola claims the HC1 has an accuracy rate over 98 percent when accepting audio commands. The dual microphones are designed to reduce background noises, and the speaker is placed close to the user's ear for easy listening. Noise-cancelling earbuds are also available for the system.
