Tesco To Scan Shoppers' Eyeballs To Improve Advertising
• Business InsiderSupermarket giant Tesco is installing new, hi-tech screens that select ads after identifying the age range of waiting customers - and determining whether they are male or female - above the checkouts in 450 petrol stations.
The hi-tech 'OptimEyes' devices are made by Lord Alan Sugar's Amscreen with the technology also adjusting the type of ads by date and time - and monitors customer purchases.
