The United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday signed off on a sweeping, first-of-its-kind treaty to regulate the international arms trade, brushing aside worries from U.S. gun rights advocates that the pact could lead to a national firearms registry and disrupt the American gun market.

1 Comments in Response to U.N. passes sweeping international arms regulation viewed by some as Second Amendment override
Treaties - like between the U.S. and other countries through the U.N. - cannot legally apply to private citizens in the United States. The constitution forbids it. If properly contested in the courts, such treaties will be shown to apply only to Americans abroad.
All we need to do is get such treaties to apply to our military in other countries. That way Government would have to withdraw them to avoid getting them killed. It wouldn't surprise me if getting our military people killed wasn't some method of population control being used by Government.
